Pennsylvania State Police responded to multiple crashes and traffic incidents on Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 between June 15 and July 3, 2026, according to official press releases. On June 15, a single-vehicle crash occurred on I-95 southbound near mile marker 32.5 when a 2019 Chevrolet Trax crossed onto the right shoulder and struck a guide rail, police say. The operator left the scene before troopers arrived. On June 24, a hit-and-run crash involving four vehicles occurred on I-95 southbound near mile marker 17.0 when an unknown driver rear-ended a 2021 Toyota RAV4, causing a chain reaction. The striking vehicle fled the scene, according to the release. On July 1, a five-vehicle chain-reaction crash occurred on I-95 northbound near mile marker 27.9 when Christina Mosquea, 27, of Bensalem, allegedly failed to compensate for slowing traffic and rear-ended a 2024 Chevrolet Trax, police say. Mosquea was charged with driving at safe speed. No injuries were reported. On June 30, Theodore Kuzmick, 49, of Swarthmore, was charged with improper lane change after a two-vehicle crash on I-95 northbound at mile marker 21.3, according to police. On July 3, Stanley Furlong, 48, of Philadelphia, was arrested during a traffic stop on I-95 northbound near mile marker 31.2 on an active warrant out of New Jersey, police say. He was transported for processing and to await extradition. Also on July 3, a motorcyclist, Logan Velik, 23, of Sellersville, struck a deer on I-476 northbound at mile marker 18.4 in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County, and was transported to Abington Hospital with injuries of unknown severity, according to the release. In a separate incident on July 1 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Nymir Williams, 21, of Newark, Delaware, was arrested on I-95 northbound in Philadelphia after allegedly fleeing from troopers during an attempted traffic stop, police say. The vehicle, a 2020 white Acura TLX, was reported stolen and crashed into other vehicles. A firearm was recovered from the scene, and suspected minor injuries were reported by those involved in the collision, according to police.
